Although the Twitter handle claims that the site is up again, I haven't been able to access it since yesterday. Any news on your side? I read it's a DDos attack to erase some Genocide proof?

Excessive Speed 1999 has a RGB555/RGB565 mode. RGB555 (15bit) doesn't work correctly in Windows 7 which has 16-bit colour support, RGB565 is fine.

The game doesn't want to initialise the audio mixer. The game gets the CD audio volume at 0% always, unless you reset the Windows mixer. What could be a potential issue and a solution? LAV filters are strictly Directshow filters. Contrary to ffdshow LAV does not provide compatible ACM/VfW codecs that can be used through MCI. For testing you can use VirtualDub that by default uses only VfW codecs for video. So you can check with it what kind of video codecs can be seen by MCI …
