Installing and booting DOS

Hi, I am using DOSBox 0.65 with Linux (Ubuntu 6.10) an needs to realize direct hardware access (I/O 0x310, IRQ 10 and MEM 0xd000 - 0xd3fff). I am starting DOSbxo with: dosbox /freedos and installed Freedos to drive C:. Is it possible to boot from C:\? Thank you. Steffen
