I asked this same question and found an answer........ in dosbox conf file change sound emulation from "sb16" to "sbpro2". leave other options as is. thats it.....enjoy those digital sound. : )

SUCCESS! I guess, as was stated here, i just changed the sb config to sb pro 2 and opl2 and sound is working just fine. This forum ROCKS!!!!
