I believe this one scales pretty well: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1387587 4:3 on this one give exactly the same visible size as my 21'' CRT(black 'bars' on each side). Not checked the sharpness too much, but doesn't look too bad to my untrained eye.

I had a similiar problem testing a s775 PC, started up but died a few seconds later - turned out to be the cpu overheating(and probably the bios safeguard acting up), I hadn't installed the cooler tightly enough/too little contact....

The graphics card actually sends out a 3840x1024 (or whatever) full picture, then the Matrox box splits it up for the monitors. IIRC Realms of Arkania 2 needed 32MB or less to actually work. sidenote: if run thru Win98, it actually works fine with 512mb memory... 😁 (and yes, that includes full sound etc, no need for pure dos)

Yeah, I guess that might be it. Though the comparison 'points' on the Speedsys 'bar' stops abruptly(mid bar) at P3 933mhz. So I figured anything above, incl P4, would still be called 'Pentium III'... Well, at least I know I have speed control all the way from a Celeron 333 and way up, only a reboot …
