The FX600 gives you DVI out as well if your hooking up to an lcd. Otherwise a Gerforce 2 mx400 should be decent... Probably the most powerful period correct GPU for this sort of system, 32bit colour over a Voodoo3(IF you had one).

I dont have another pentium pro motherboard, I just ponder whether memory tweaking gets more results for benchmarking than overclocking the cpu, as far as I know theirs only one other Pentium pro motherboard which supports overclocking the fsb which was the Abit AB-PS6, Ive never seen one for sale. …

My question being for benchmarking purposes, would I get the more out of my PR440FX overclocked overdrive to 350mhz or running at 333mhz in another board that has better tweaking options.

Have you done much testing with the PR440FX? I just wonder if we lose much performance to other 440FX motherboards because of the lack of memory tweaking in the bios.

Well, the performance is bad in general, not only for new games. Q3A = 118.2 vs 182.3 or UT = 44.1 vs 61 fps. I think it's easier to forget about FM midi if you want a PCI sound card, better off buying a PCI sound card for general midi and have an earlier system for FM synthesis. That's the conclusion Ive come too.
