I'm not looking to make a blank image. I'm looking to make an image from an existing HD.

So I was wondering what kind of image formats there are or image creating programs that would create a dosbox-compatible file, since this information doesn't seem to be anywhere. (already searched the forum too, don't get snarky)

I still have it set up, I sitll get driver errors on both gus and sb, in all cases. No music, no sound.

Nevermind the fact that I get the same error when I switch to GUS (other things work fine with it), I'm pretty sure it will not sound like what I know and remember, so it's a pretty big compromise, working or not.

Does this mean i'm stuck having to manually resize each video and thread them together, or is there a way of ensuring I can have them all conform to a common aspect ratio at a higher resolution …

I'm pretty sure I did... I usually do everything when I install something... I might have inadvertantly removed it during a cleanup... I'll check that out, and it's most likely the issue, thanks

Ok, I just recorded an entire video (About an hour in length) and while I can hear the sound when I play it in something, I get no video at all. Also, despite the file being 54 minutes, it was only 598MB. Dosbox had better not have forgotten to record the actual video part of the video file -_-
