Thin lines in the mac version

If I use the mac version of dosbox in fullscreen mode, thin multicolored lines appear on the right side and on the bottom of the screen, does anyone know what causes this, and how can this be fixed? I have mac os x 10.4 tiger.

Try setting the mixer rate, and the rate of the emulated PC Speaker from 22050 to 44100. I had a problem that the emulated PC Speaker sound stuttered or produced weird distorted sounds on my new computer but this fixed it.

I finally found a way to fix this. What I did is that I set the video chipset from s3 to et4000 in gulikoza's dosbox, installed et4000 drivers, and now it works!

I found MS-DOS 6.22 disk images on the internet and they work! Looks like I'll use 6.22 instead of 6.20, but the important thing is that it works.

Hmm, so the problem is what I thought was the problem. Oh, well at least it runs dosbox well, and direct3d works too, so even if it stretches the screen to fit the whole display at a lower resolution, the screen doesn't appear blurred. At least that's something.

You mean that piezoelectric stuff they put in new PCs too because not much PC speaker sound is needed nowadays? If it's that, then it is strange that they put it in a PC that was assembled in the early 90s when PC speaker was widely used.
