MSD isn't the greatest diagnostic utility, even for DOS, but it's what MS seems to be best at: it's relatively useful for practically everything, which is why it's on every emergency boot disk I make.

I have a 25-pin D-shell port, but it appears to be for the printer, though there's also a mini-DIN 8* port for a special printer cable (which I have). *I think that's what you'd call it, it looks like a keyboard or mouse port/plug but with 8 pins

My current one was introduced here, and my other one (below) was something I did in Paint on a whim on my first working computer and have subsequently redrawn (always in Paint) several times and resurrected to be my avatar. Actually, I'm going to change it again shortly.

I would've been ready for Doom (and therefore most FPSs) at 6 if I had had the chance to play it and get used to the environment for a while, but that's me; I already had a college reading level, for example (thanks, Mom!).
