Yeah the difference between SLI and a single card is like 3FPS, so almost within the margin for error. I'm not sure what is going on with this but its going to take more investigation. I just ran quake with only the standard VGA drivers installed for the 9800Pro and got the same results. The problem …

Well I'm doing some benchmarking again and seeing there are some differences with 2 enabled but it still doesn't seem to scale at all the way Phil's videos do. I'll check more and report back when I have more data.

MobRules I will try to test as many of those suggestions as I can however I can only select Voodoo and 1024x768 in Quake 3 when both cards are installed. The performance seems to fit that of a single voodoo card not my 9800 running a wrapper and this is on Win98SE, I've never installed a wrapper on …

I've owned 2 tablets and all of them have become forgotten within a month. If you have a PC and a smart TV tablets are useless. The ReelMagic card worked in DOS too. I don't know if you thought they didn't or I misread that but I used to own one back in the day with my 386 =). Were you running a PCI ReelMagic card in your 386? Oh I would tell you that it was of course ISA but I don't think that you were actually asking.

Picked up another 9800 Pro today for about 60 plus shipping. Am I the only one that thinks these cards are currently undervalued? What is arguably the best card for Win98SE seems to go for a reasonable price. I just wanted to have a backup in case the one I have now fails in the future.

I ended up putting the X-fi Titanium HD in my girlfriends Win 10 machine. She has like 2 3" tall USB powered speakers so it should sound awesome =) At least I know the card works fine. Well I know the mini stereo output works fine anyways.

I went to go and try it and realized that It won't fit in my XP system. The GTX 580 covers the other PCI-E slot, so much for that idea. Unless I get a better motherboard, which I have been considering for a while if the right deal comes up, I'll have to stick with the PCI card I have in there …
