Alright...do you know where VDMSound creates this shortcut? I searched the AD folder for it. (I got it to work using DoG, but would still like to know for future problems...)

So I´m trying to run Archimedean Dynasty again. I have nolfb and VDMS is installed...according to the nolfb website I have to use it with the dosprompt, so is there any way for me to run e.g. ad.exe with VDMS from the dos prompt? Thanks. 😀

Nevermind, I found it...and I used it on the setup file, and everything SEEMS TO WORK. Now only to get my money from my lazy arse friend so I can register glidos, too.🙄

In the support page it tells me to turn off the hint boxes that pops up whenever VDMS is used. Where do I do that? Can't even find a setup program.

I have tried that, and then it runst perfectly stable. As soon as I try to run it with sound, though, that's when it happens, so it must be something about that. Typical that its just BLOOD I have so much trouble with.

I could just let the game run, without doing anything and it would still crash, I bet.

No, it is just totally random, it can crash after 2 minutes or 10 minutes, and doesn't depend on anything special.

Hmm, if I could only get blood NOT to crash I would probably buy Glidos...as it is now, I can play a few minutes, but then it suddenly crashes and throws me out to the desktop. In the help section it says to make sure hint boxes from VDMS are not enabled, but I haven't found a way to disable them. …
