Yes thats can i do but dosbox is better to use. i tested vmware and virtual pc from microsoft. This programms are not so good dosbox is the better programm

thx but bochs is more difficult than dosbox to use it. and the programm mus be easy to use

@ h-a-l-9000: In your newest Version there is a bug, ... .. if it is the end of the month, the jumt to the next month is not korrekt. if 29.02 then at midnight its 02.03 or it's the 30:03 at midnight its 00.04 i would say the date jumb is incorrect. (sorry for double post)

beacause the apllication which is running with dos box is writing a log. and i need a log file for every day this application run. so it must update hisself automatic

what do you mean with upgrade? ... what shoul'd be upgraded? I need the functions of the newest dosbox version and must add a date update. thats very important !

this is an dos application and the user shouldn´t know that xp is running behind. can i print without pressing ctrl + F2 ?

Thanks for answer, but it doesn´t work. How can you print? What i´m doing wrong? in windows i do this: net use lpt1: \\servername\printer and in dosbox i do this: copy file.xyz lpt1 but it doesn´t work 🙁
