There's an audio bug in the last r4279 Windows Build. Popping digital sounds in Prince of Persia. I usually crank sound frequency up to 49716 to get the best results in OPL emulation, but I don't think this is the cause of the issue, because I've always done that and there was no problem at all …

I just checked my DOSBox conf files. Mine are set to Block size: 1024 - Prebuffer: 10 No audio lag at all for me.

Sorry but it was done already... this problem happen only with dosbox, not in all other programs and games Could be an 1809/driver issue? I can confirm. Just tried my DOSBox Windows 3.11 installation with DOSBox ECE r4101 and get a black screen. The normal SVN r4101 works fine.

I can only recommend not using Dosbox for any Windows 95 gaming. Agreed. You will eventually get page faults that corrupt the install and will require a complete re-install of Windows9x.
