It's the same game, but the version I had been playing since 1990 is the one in TVDog's Tandy archive: http://www.oldskool.org/guides/tvdog/games.html That version had been on BBS systems way, way back, and it lacks the setup program you mentioned.

I have been testing ver. 0.72 with several old shareware games, and most of them run just fine. The old game Ninja (from 1986 I think) runs in 4 color CGA mode, but I'm pretty sure that on Tandy 1000 pc's it ran in a 16 color mode. You're right, I was using ykhwong build looking for a better support to the lpt ports. Whats the best tutorial/build to have lpt printing from a DOS app that could be redirected to a network printer? And the problem with the 9000+ files it's the same with the official build. Thanks again!

Yes, the one that can be hide with CRTL-ALT-F9. Tried now -nomenu and it works, its missing from the readme, doesn't it? Thanks again, you just have the perfect avatar for the present times 😊

Using default config of DOSBox v0.72, now tried to change CPU settings, no result. Is there a parameter to disable the menus? like there is a -noconsole to disable the window. Thanks again!

I'm trying to run a old dos app that have 9000+ files in his folder, and DOSBox is unusable, freezing many seconds until it accepts any input. Thanks, any help would be appreciated! Regards.

Fixed. It looks like all I needed to do was uninstall my old codecs and add the latest Vista codec pack (4.6.2). I was always able to record the avi files, just that WMP 11 could not play them. It couldn't play A LOT of video files until this latest codec pack. But even GOMPlayer, which is much more …

MG55, can you post a list of codecs on your system here for us? Either use the utility mentioned above or look in your system information. My system running Vista Home premium does not play many video clips that play OK in XP, and I'd like to find out why.

Here's a little advertisement I did using the video capture feature in DOSBOX. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPRyxhgriXo&fmt=18 With added music and several clips edited together. BTW, The music is a MIDI of The Infernal Dance from Stravinsky's "Firebird Suite". Somehoe it seemed fitting.

I tried using Roxio 9 on Vista Home Premium and the ZMBV codec never worked. But Roxio 9 on an XP system worked just fine with the codec. I can edit the .avi files just like any other supported format. wonder if this is just another VISTA issue, or is there a way to get ZMBV to work in it?
