Everytime SCC-1 or even MT-32 appears on ebay, I can't afford it. But I managed to get an AWE64 Gold with extra ram (8MB in total). I understand there were a couple of revisions Roland did for the SCC-1 card, some have 317 sounds, others have 354 sounds. One was called SCC-1B. Your Dell monitor sounds really good. I'd be very happy with one that had 1:1 and aspect options. I don't want a widescreen though, and I think 19" is good from a size point of view.
