Pretty slow computer to be running so fast... Try MOSLO (more slow) its a program that slows your games down, however more than often it is that the game is too slow not too fast!

Arena and Daggerfall both worked for me w/o problems on DosBOX except slowness and great under abandon loader (just a bit faster) with sound and didnt freeze at any time. (or crash)

I guess because its emulated to the Hex #s and not to the actual windows ones to be faster.

I think it might be cool, but not for palm pilots. (palm pilots reffered to people who jacked off constantly in the 1960s, I don't know why they changed the meaning to a little crappy pocket organizer) Rather a pocket PC which has a 200/400mhz processor and its much better for playing than a 33/ …

The guy above me was real nice but he forgot DOSBox specific commands. CTRL + F11 = slows down the game CTRL + F12 = speeds up the game CTRL + F8 = Increases Frameskip CTRL + F7 = Drecreases frameskip If you have windows 2000/xp press ALT+CTRL+DELETE and go to task manager, then go to performance. …

do "mount C (drive letter here w/o ()'s, like C:\ or D:\)" then cd c:\duke3d (if you have duke nukem 3d) then duke3d to run. All you need is basic knowledge of DOS. Type intro then help.

I don't know what you are bitching about. Abandon Loader, Win Xp Patch for Sound, and VDMSound addon for abandon loader lets me play it greatly! (although mouse moves very slow) I know dosbox isn't perfect, but its not the only one. (its the best tho) Try VDMSound Launchpad and Abandon Loader.

to play doom get "zdoom" or "jdoom" much cooler and has mouselook (fps/counterstrike/quake)

I said 'some'. Because some games have a problem detecting games over that much space or they have a faulty save system. Also, I have gotten a message like that in Albion but it was solved once I made a "SAVES" folder in the ALBION folder. Hope it helps! PS. WOOT this post hits its 22000 views!! 😁

Thats probably because you have more than 2.4 gigs in that harddrive being used. Some older programs only see the first 2.4gbs and if they are full they think there isnt enough space, or with Baldur's Gate 1, it only sees 2gb of freespace. Anyways, here you go I got DUKE NUKEM 3D running! 😁

I have a mobo with ISA... I'll get an ISA card with General Midi or Mt-32 someday! PS. Fallout Tactics is great! If you play it without cheats its a very good game that leaves you wanting for more!

What about an ensoniq soundscape PCI? It gave me the best sound out of sb16/live!/onboard. PS. Nice signature HunterZ... http://www.nma-fallout.com/forums if you want to get some tidbits about Fallout 3.

I thought the real SOUND BLASTER 16 PCI (newest DOS SB) had Mt-32 sound...
