True, but that was not the question here I believe. Imperious wrote: A 3dfx Voodoo 1 and 2 can not be used in any system as the only video card. It is a 3d card only, You need a 2d card for dos/windows and a passthrough cable going between the 2d card and the voodoo card.

Correct. Most MIDI daughterboards also require 12V, which this adapter does not supply. It is only suitable for use with Serdaco's Dreamblaster boards.

I feel your pain.... Glad you found a few good MIDI modules to replace the lost ones. And I agree with Keropi's advice (he knows his stuff). The CM-32L and SC-7 would be good to keep for DOS gaming purposes. The SC-8820 is nice too. I bought an SC-8850 a while ago and two days ago my SD-90 arrived. …
