No DOS games are "abandonware" because "abandonware" does not exist. I guess I need to brush up on my definitions.

Sorry, I tend to generalize, since Most DOS games are abandonware. Anyways, I think I can live with it as is. If I run into any future trouble, Ill be back later. Now all that's left is ZPC and Daggerfell if it doesnt work after i redownload it.

I dont actually have the CD of the game, I just downloaded the abandonware files, so I dont think that article is going to help me, but thanks anyways

How do the exact mountings look like? "mount a c:\users\username\desktop\ARENA" Then I issue the "Install CD command," if thats what you mean.

I'm guessing here but it sounds like you need the other 29 files to finish extracting the game from that archive. That's likely only a partial file. The problems still persist, but thank you anyways. I tried Arena again, and after pressing "Ctrl+F12" 30 or so times, got it to a desired speed. Now I need to know if doing something like that could harm my Computer or ruin my program in some way, and if not, is there a way I can save those settings …

Actually, forget about what I said on Darkseed. One kind soul in my last post instructed me that I simply needed to use a batch file, hidden between the countless other files, that used both apps in conjunction.

The keystroke helped Elder scrolls to a certen extent, though there is still significant framerate issues, and darkseed has been operating in an odd way. My notepad wont let me save the changes for some reason. I can change the code, but when i try to save, it wont let me. Any suggestions? Also, does anyone know anything for the other games that freeze? Ive got some really good ones that i cant get to work...
