Thanks, but when I try to install it with DOSBox I immediately get the error "You do not have MSCDEX installed. Please consult the manual that came with your CD-ROM drive or SCSI adapter for instructions on how to install MSCDEX." Any way to get around this?

I downloaded the beta patch allowing the 7th Guest to be run on Vista. It's working fine, except that there appears to be no sound effects or dialogue (even during the opening movie). Music, however, plays fine. Any ideas as to what might be causing this? Thanks.
