I have the same issue, almost. I can run the game without sound using vdmsound, and if i choose GMIDI for music and nothign for sound FX. However if i choose any soundblaster and any setting, (that corresponds to VDMsound) then it crashes/ freezes at the menu screen. Any thoughts?
