get a different motherboard and use a AGP card. Get a FIC PA-2013 (2mb L2) or an Asus P5A (comes in both AT and ATX) A gem K6-3+ needs to sit in the best board. Accept no substitutions.

Wow, the mt-32 is NOISY compared to the emulator. All the sounds "sound" the same, which is the whole idea, but its painfully obvious in monkey island 2 there is significant noise.

I've tried to do the network card as a bios flasher before. I ended up actually killing the bios and bricking 2 motherboards. Check your local craigslist http://dublin.craigslist.org/ if you ask around if someone has a proper bios programmer, buy them a 6-pack and you will be happier in the long run …

The process hasn't changed, as long as you find the correct version. if you have done it on a modern computer this one will be no different. 95% of the time the bios file comes with detailed instructions anyway.

wow, that pentium board is bound by the 8.4gb limit. OUCH. As a bit of history lesson, hard drive sizes were limited at 540MB, 8.4gb, 32gb, 137gb, 2tb. You defiantly need to update the bios. it will ate LEAST let you go up to 32gb.

wash and keep the case, set the rest on fire. is possible take a video of it. But seriously. I keep socket 478 p4's. but only fastest in the socket. i.e. fastest 800mhz, 533, 400 etc. the rest are immediately tossed in the scrap box. I don't even check to see if they work.
