Ok, same thing happens in the Windows version - so there goes my theory. What's going on?

My dos program is trying to load a binary file. It works in WinXP's command prompt, but in DOSBox on Linux it says "invalid file format". I suspect DOSBox is performing text conversion on the file because it has an extention (.QLB) that it doesn't recognize as a binary file. Is this the case? If so, …
