I can't get sound to work in this game. The option on the menu is grey, even after I change sound settings in setsound.exe and dos-box.conf. Do I need the CD ISO, and if so, is there any way to tell which sector is under attack without sound?

Also if it helps, I edited my dos-box.conf file with the suggestions from How to speed up DOSBox (by robertmo and mirekluza), specifically #2.

I installed them by extracting from a .rar file to a folder in my "dosgames" directory. The directory is mounted as c, with the different games as folders within it, if that's what you meant. My machine is definitely old, HP Pavilion N5470 laptop, not sure about exact specs, but most dosbox games …

I'm having the same problems with both games. 1. They run painfully slow 2. The screens are often blacked out. I can "erase" the black with the cursor usually, but only on parts where there is a cursor.
