I never used a K5, I owned a K6 though. And it was far better than the PIIs it was competeing against.

Nah, it's not a custom board. It was semi-popular around 2001, at least as much as dual CPU boards were at the time. From what I can find on it, there was one version of it that natively supported Tualatins, but I imagine it's pretty rare. The rest of 'em would probably work with Tualatins if you …

I can find a basic specification for you: http://www.motherboard.cz/mb/acorp/6a815ed.htm I think the manufacturer went bust or something, cos i cant find much more about it. It's also possible it's a custom board, which are often made by motherboard manufacturers for OEM companies. (Dell, HP etc). …

98 on a 133? I'd have thought that'd be pretty slow. 98 was slow enough on systems built for it! Sounds like a good system though. I was just never that keen on the early pentiums. Give me a K5 any day!

It's not a standard slot ive ever come accross, but it is a slot. 3 rows of pins that go into a socket. It's a bit like some of the old Pentium IIs
