The painted case looks really good, I doubt you would've gotten better results with retrobrite, it looks almost like new. I personally prefer the C64C, which unfortunately has even more problems with yellowing due to the brighter case and keyboard.

There's a bunch of benchmarks here: http://thandor.net/object/109 (not mine) The 8MB V1 cards seem to get about 50% of the V2 performance at 800x600, which isn't much. Unreal Tournament doesn't run well on a Voodoo1. Unreal 1 is already barely playable (below 20fps at 640x480).

Awesome system! My puny So939 rig (X2 4400+, X1950XT, 2GB RAM) is shivering. Yes, SSD, do it! Unless you want to use only authentic components. In that case get a couple of WD Raptors in a raid. But your storage hardware is significantly lacking compared to the GPU/CPU/RAM. 😉

Thanks 😀 I don't consider it cramped. The room is -very- small and I'm pretty happy that I got all those systems and a bunch of games in there without making it look cluttered. But yes, it's a little bit tight in there, not much room for more than one person, I give you that 😉
