Slot based p3, something around 500-800mhz, probably a coppermine core agp pci isa IRRC intel never did a chipset that supported 133fsb did they? Despite the cpus sporting it? So can someone list a few quality motherboards that fulfil those requirements that should be plentiful and easy to find?

so would it loose its bios settings but run okay with out the battery? What cpus does it support? is the one thats on it now any good? i didnt see the ide connector on the i/o card, good spot 😁

http://www.mike65.ukfsn.org/main/uploads/files/old/ I think the battery has leaked out... From what I can tell Some sort of isa i/o card. Texas instruments cpu 8mb of edo? half samsung half siemens anyone got any information on the motherboard? Or connecting drives to it? Or powering it?

Hi I have two questions. I have a monitor that belong to a smoker and was in front of a window. Its yellow. Can it be restored to its original whiteness/biegesnesS? Also His pc was caked in dust a nicotine but had a few cards I want to keep, whats the best way of cleaning old dusty cards?

its a new install ~1 week but i only added the card the other day after installing it. quake 1 is using glquake in windows 98. Quake 2 says its using the voodoo 2 card. I'm pretty stumped as to what could be causing such low performance.

turning off video bios shadow got me another 10 fps on the time demos! But cpu to pci post write makes them crash. I Couldnt see any latency options

no luck with other drivers. Bios settings pci/vga palletsnoop = disabled video bios shadow - enabled then i have tones of hex ranges followed by the word shadow all set to disabled. IRRC this has something to do with making the video faster but i dont know what... should i enable all ranges? CPU to …

well quake 2 was on 3dfx opengl and i used glquake which i assume doesnt have a software mode (And it had a 3d spinning 3dfx logo at the start) edit: its only an 8mb voodoo 2 not a 12mb but id still expect better performance on quake 2. like 40 or 50fps i would have thought

Right got it all working sort of But im getting bad performance I installed the fastvoodoo2 gold driver. In quake 2 3.20 im getting 11fps @ 640x480 and in glquake im getting 41fps @ 640x480 Any ideas?

hi my retro pc is using parts from around 96-00, its a pos with no agp so the gfx needs to be pci. I'm thinking a voodoo3 2000? Or is it worth getting the 3000? or is there anything else i should be looking at? Are there any decent tn2 cards or early geforces to watch out for?

it was either a amd 486/133 or a celeron 300, 32mb of ram and as for graphics i have no idea, i was only 10 or 11 at the time. It must have been something somewhat capable because it played blood2 ok and i dont think blood had a software mode.
