I got the same problem when installing Privateer from floppy disk. After replacing a disk with the next one the installation does not go on. It seems that it still "thinks" that the first disk is in the drive. Maybe it's the same for CD. Unfortunatly I did not find a solution yet.

I'm not sure if you really need to label the drive. I'm using this mount-command to play Battle Isle 2: mount d: i:\ -t cdrom -ioctl -usecd 2 So add -ioctl to your line and it might work.

Of course I read the documentation. But maybe I should have mentioned that beside displaying the error message Armada does not start at all. However it does start if ipx is set to false. Well, and starting a server with IPXNET and connecting it to another DosBox-session didn't change the problem.

Unfortunatly there is nothing you can do about it. The keyboard implementation in Privateer wasn't too good. If you cannot get yourself a joystick you can only try to get the best possible framerate which will slightly decrease the stepsize of the crosshair.

I had the same problem. It works after deactivating the sound/music.

You can use "/" instead of "\", or mount the directory in "dosbox.conf".

According to www.spieleforum.de the CD's label must be "BATTLEISLE2", and the game must be stored in the root directory. Setting the label with mount d d:\ -t cdrom -usecd 0 -label BATTLEISLE2 didn't help me though. 🙁
