The one I have now worked for ages on another PC, but I really don't want to use it if it can break my PC (especially if it can kill me and my family). Okay guys I'm really sorry to bump this thread only now, but I think I found out the issue. Apparently it was not the power supply but bios configuration. I have a second PSU (300ATX) that has: +3.3V = 22A +5V = 30A -5V = 0.3A +12V = 14A -12V = 0.8A +5V SB = 0.8A It's the one which made PC turn off after about 5 minutes. Easier said than done, I have a different floppy drive which I could use, but it seems the PC box is made in such a way I cannot put any other drive.
