If the motherboard is supported by BeOs, you can find games to play and see if they perform differently with one or both cpu active.

Tried the Margi DVD-To-Go card on the Tecra 500CDT and got a MMSYSTEM262 error in win 95RTM, I don't know if the card is defective or if it's just an issue with the drivers on that particular computer. Also got the BeBox out to save the contents of an old BeOS freeware/shareware disc 😀

I tested my MPEG1 video decoding cards, the Leadtek MoviePlus 1100 ISA in a Celeron 400MHz "machine" (yeah it's just a GigaByte 440BX motherboard lying around!) as my Pentium 200MHz is on an Asus P55T2P4 board with a dead Dallas cmos battery so no way to change bios settings from the default... …

Pcmcia serial port cards work in DOS, you have to load the point enabler though. I have one from Socket, the Serial I/O single port card, works great in every machine DOS machine I have, including my HP 200LX.

I did try it when I first got it and I haven't really used it since... there are only 4 different versions to try, it shouldn't take you long to test them all.
