I cannot reproduce this at all. I just made sure to run a (pretty) pristine US Windows 3.1 install (not WfW 3.11). Tried with your conf (just reset the [cpu] section and disabled fullscreen) and Quicktime installer for 2.1.2. Installed fine without a problem and reported that it successfully …

Okay, when I use the one that was linked to in that guide, and then I try to install Quicktime 32, I get this error: "Win32s -Error QT32INST.EXE Unhandled Exception detected. (Code: 0xC0000094 QT32INST.EXE:6ED5) Application will be terminated." I have no idea why this happened.

2.1.2. It's the version that comes with Myst. I'm pretty sure that's the same version that other threads say is the one that works the best, so I don't know what's going on.
