VDMSound 2.0.4, including the 2.0.4 Update2 patch, and VDM LaunchPad 1.0.1.1. OS: Windows 2000. When I run Papyrus' Indy Car Racing 2, it works fine for about the first minute or so. It works when you're in the actual DOS command prompt. The problem is, this is launching a Windows program from the windows shell, using a shell command in the registry. There's no output redirection that way, as far as I know.

Because it's not a shortcut. It's a Shell command in the registry, which has no "working directory" parameter.

Because if I happen to run the program with the "Current directory" set to something other than a known location, then these two loose .txt files get created in whatever the current directory is. The two prior titles by Papyrus (Indianpolis 500 and Indy Car Racing) work fine on DosBox, but Indy Car Racing II doesn't work. Stdout.txt reads: "Exit to error: IRET to lower privilege" Is there a setting I can change?
