seems to work on my A2000 with A2286/8 BB...but I have to wait till my A2386 arrives because with EMM286 softmpu does not work.

How can I do this. It has only jumpers (and none for the mpu401) and "esscfg" tells me MPU401 is at 300 and disabled. I can activate it and place it at IRQ2/330. But after a reboot it's disabled again. How can I enable it, so I can use "softmpu" with joystick/Midi cable. Is there a TSR or another …

I did some further testing on my A2000 with A2286/8 and Diamond Speedstar VGA. - Ddave shows ugly strange textmode-characters when jumping. - Keen4 demo the same when jumping. - with activated "vga-compatibility" for Keen (ddave has no option like that) the weired chracters are gone. One other thing is, that my Cel-300 is a bit fast so I need to "throttle" it down, if I want to hear SB/Adlib in some games. So there is another "interference factor" for having smooth scrolling. So I will check out other possible options for that. My: - PM7300 (with PPC/G3-Upgrade) has the P-166 …

Ok, thx, then we do think different about smooth scrolling. It's true that DDave3/4 scrolls the screen and when it does the enemys don't move, but it's really smooth. Biomance works but the vertical scrolling is not smooth at all, on none of my machines, it's ugly choppy. What is smooth is the …

Ah very nice! thx! There a EGA Hires-Drivers available for Gem1x and also a VGA-Patch, but I have not tested this VGA-Patch jet. Win104 (english-version) runs with the VGA-patch in 640x480.

You have installed the wrong driver, you need that one that installs dos-support within win9x.
