What OS? With DOS 6.22 and ctmouse I found enough memory for smartdrive. My sound setup doesn't need any tsr though and no CD rom driver loaded.

Nar those things are pretty useless, no 100% compatible MPU401 interface to drive the MT-32, not sound blaster compatible, and not many games support it.
