Re: Gamestop To Begin Trading in Retro Consoles and Games

in Milliways
I have the impression from the article that it will strictly be an online thing, which makes sense, as it would seem absurd to consume valuable floor space with something with such limited appeal. Limited appeal? What rock have you been under for the past few years? Retro is huge, at least here in …

Re: CRT questions

Good luck! These small screens with enormous dot pitch seem to be very rare nowadays. Just found the original Samsung model number too: SC-439VG. There's some solid logic behind this numbering scheme: SC- 4 39VG = 14 inch SC-4 39 VG = 0.39mm dot pitch SC-439 V G = VGA Thanks for sharing that bit of …

Agreed, they look pixelated on the the wrong type of CRT monitor too. Guess you need a rather highish number dot pitch monitor to get the correct …

Re: CRT questions

Yeah I agree, I only remembered because a friend of mine in the late 90's who was Chinese had a crapload of bootleg MS-DOS game cd's, and Liangshan Heroes of Water Margin was one of the games on it. Very good beat 'em up!

Shuihuzhuan Liangshan Yingxiong aka Water Edge: Liangshan Heroes If I remember correctly this game also has multiple variants of the name above for whatever reason.
