Cd drive door won't open

I have an older cdrom,the tray doesnt open when i press the button,after using the manual eject hole 2-3 times to open it,it starts working fine,until i turn the pc off and leave it turned off for a while. Then when starting the pc again the problem comes back. Is there a fix for it?

Yes,what i mean is that no matter if i install the drivers with a installer or manually,the card still doesn't gets recognized,it just shows up in device manager as a "pci multimedia device"with the yellow exclamation mark. Lowest i can find online is 33ohm ,i guess i'll just have to juryrig something too. If i take 1 of this https://www.banggood.com/10-Pcs-40-Pin-2_54mm … ur_warehouse=UK cut it so i have 10 pins then use 5 jumpers on top,will it work?

Ok so if,let's say all of motherboard manufacturers,used this type of 0 ohm resistor,then a 10 pin(5x 0ohm links)resistor should work ok on my motherboard,to set the cpu type?

I pulled this resistor from a FIC motherboard ,it's only got 8 pins. From the 000 marking on it,i presume corectly this is a 0 ohm resistor?

I got this 486 motherboard,but it's missing the rezistor needed to set the cpu type. It seems to be a 10 pin single in line rezistor. Do i need a special model or any 10 pin single in line rezistor will do the job?

I checked the caps,they look alright. The bios i use is the latest one i could find on asrock site. I checked the board with a couple of socket 775 cpus:2 single core pentium 4 and a core 2 duo e 7400. With the pentium 4s everything is ok,with the core 2 duo it acts the same. I overclocked the cpu to 3,4 and now all the cores idle around 38-39 C so no more 10 degree difference. In full load they go up to around 56-58.

Under load the two hotter cores stay about the same while the cooler ones heat up to about same as the other 2. .
