Great! Was working fine for me too. But Win 7 has this habit of permanently banning signatures in case of an errant incidence. Seen that with apps too. Deep there , some clue should be avbl.

😲 This game used to play well in XP SP 3 and then on Win 7. These days on Win 7 it stops on starting. Any clues?

@Jorpho, that seems to be a little costly solution. Wonder if anything messes up with the explorer , or I will not be able to access any folders meantime etc. I wonder if that is the only roundabout available.Infact these days the output is bad even for the main user. Wonder what was the settings …

Thanks for the reply mate. It is infact a game which would run without a flaw in win98 and XP. I tried using Win95 compat mode in Win 7. For some days it worked fine. The title graphics is perfect, the game graphics has gone for a swing and is ineligible.

I used to have this game - the free version which runs without any issues in my XP machine. But in Win 7 when logged in as main user , adjusting the compat to Win 95 and run in 256 colors removes the horrible grains from the graphics. But the point is if I log in as a guest and with the same specs …

I was wondering if the right ,left etc keys can also be mapped with mouse movement. Presently the support seems only for keyboard and joysticks. Are they handled in any SVN builds?

One thing you can try is lowering the "out volume" on the game's menu, because some of the samples are not well normalized and tend to clip. I set it to 11, which gets rid of most clipping, and then increase my PC's output level if it seems necessary to make the sound louder. The quality of sound …

Would it be possible for mapping the mouse just as being done for the keyboard or joystick. Might be can come handy in the paddle , ball arcade games. Is that a possibility in the future?

A plain novice question. I downloaded yo joe 1818k from abandonware. After unzipping , I am clueless on how to proceed with the game as they don't extend beyond the first screen. The installation guide if there exists any?

No. What I was seeking was , looking at the key mapper menu is there a feature to let know which keys are mapped , and which are deleted? I can delete the keymapper file and start fresh. Just curious to know..

Yes , adjusted the settings. The sound is much better ut still not getting a clear sound and seems a little distorted and noisy.Would there be something else to be adjusted?
