The game doesn't want to initialise the audio mixer. The game gets the CD audio volume at 0% always, unless you reset the Windows mixer. What could be a potential issue and a solution? Perhaps the card is designed that way because it doesn't support 3.3v only PCI slots, universal is meant to signify that it supports either but that's not always the case and being a USB card it likely wants a 5v slot to provide +5V to USB peripherals which a 3.3v only slot cant do.
