Is it perhaps a ISA speed issue? Maybe. AFAIK, ITE8888 clocks the ISA bus at PCICLK/4 , so 8.25 MHz . A late vintage ISA card should not have issues with that, one would think . I still think something is not quite right with ISA DMA on this motherboard, given that even the GUS classic's Setup …

Do you have any opengl32.dll files other than the Microsoft Windows one lying around in your system path or in the affected games' directories ? If you do, they are probably copies of the 3Dfx miniGL driver, which would explain why (only) the Voodoo works .

Your capture card may not like 70Hz refresh rates, whereas your monitor supports them . Does your VGA to to HDMI convert to 60Hz ? What does your monitor's OSD say about the converted signal ?

I bought 10 Verbatim CD-RW, but Tecra doesn't see burned content CD-RW (rewritable) are notoriously incompatible with older drives that are not specifically designed to read them . Assuming your CD drive can read pressed media, it will likely be able read good quality CD-R (writable) .
