Does Carmageddon 1 work with dgvoodoo(or any other glide wrapper besides glidos)? So far every version of glidos I've tried have had some problems...

I have Carmageddon Max Pack, which comes with the 3dfx update, and no -hires option(which sucks). Now, I've tried Glidos, but 1.24 is too fast and whenever I press a key the action comes ~1sec. late. 1.25 on the other hand is just too damn slow, nowhere near playable. So, if someone could send me …
