Isn't Indy3 one of the few gameblaster games, that's probably better worth running in SCUMMVM? I like to run the actual game, but when SCUMMVM enables a combination of graphics and sound that wasn't possible at the time, I tend to give that a go..

Seeing as you know about all the different versions - can you provide a rundown of the advantages and disadvantages of each one? I don't care about multiplayer, single player only. Not bothered by secret levels or exploits either, unless it stops an especially good mod from working.

I can't remember off the top of my head whether Warp 4 supports AWE32/64 in WinOS/2 - I'm pretty sure it did. AWE32/64 are definitely supported in OS/2 itself, but you may have to fiddle around with the parameters. I wouldn't have thought that SB1/1.5 would work - it has to be an actual SB16/32/64 …

It'll be fine, after it's swapped a few things to disk, if all you're doing is copying disks and lots of extra software isn't installed. I ran OS/2 on 8MB for years, 4MB on 95 should be ok.
