ok, thanks you phils... the modded ctcm works well, but must add the /T parameter in the ctcm.exe line in config.sys

Yes but it can do this without the initialization done in windows as it's asking. . Maybe there's a Way to "bypass" this initialization message..

Youre right but the strange thing is that now the sound from cd-rom is working even without the initialization Done in Windows asked by the p&p configuration manager

I have different dos and Windows but in this installation i have tried the dos 7.1 downloaded from internet so it's a stand-alone version.. anyway the problem seems to be a component like the creative plug and play configuration manager that is "set" for Windows. .?

jesolo was right i have connect the audio cable and installed the driver from the iso image sb16val_r1.iso downloaded from this site and now it's working but now there are a new problem... in autoexec.bat the installation process add the following lines SET SOUND=C:\SB16 SET BLASTER=A220 I10 D1 H5 …

Hi all, im trying to play the secret of monkey island from an original remastered cd but i cannot get the audio play. If i play from the floppy version it work and if i run a downloaded version of the cd game from the cd-rom it work. I have a CT2950 with a Wave Blaster and a dvd-rom. Any hint?

Hi all, i have the mb mentioned in the subject and gave me this problem: - mb + cpu --> single repeating beep (so the bios is working) - mb + cpu + ram --> power up and fans start, no beep - mb + cpu + ram + pci/isa gpu --> power up and fans start, no beep, no video any hint? 😀

the one you posted is the GMB-486SG i have the MB-486SG... in the socket it's writed "P24T/486DX/486SX/M6" so im start to think that this mb is a "striped down" version of the GMB-486SG with no support of DX2-DX4 version...

Hi all, i've the mb in object but i cant find any info/manual. The layout is the same of the GMB-486SG but the jumper settings are different and i cannot set my dx2-66 to the right frequency (only 40 or 80).

ok, update... i installed 4 Hynix dimm SDRAM 256MB 133MHz at the start up the system recognize only 256mb, in control panel - system it's write 256mb, but cpu-z recognize 1024mb... so... 😕
