Re: Radeon drivers fail to install on Windows XP

in Marvin \ Video
I've got the same issue with this setup: https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=52529&p=637344#p637344 As you can see, I'm using the same drivers that you're attempting to install. 1. First install manually the graphics card driver from device manager. Reboot. 2. Then run Catalyst installer, …

Re: Comparison of graphics cards on a 1.4 GHz Tualatin

in Marvin \ Video
I'd like to know if this guy could run GPU-accelerated youtube videos in a browser with that HD4670 in Win7. If so, my lowly HD4350 will probably work as well. If we can get modern browsers working fully accelerated, the Tualatin may come back to life. Theoretically, latest High End Single and Dual …

Workaround that fixed the issue on both VisionTek's ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro 256MB and ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256MB AGP Graphics Cards on Windows XP SP3: 1) Backup c:\Windows\System32\drivers\hdaudbus.sys file 2) Rename the original file to hdaudbus.old 3) Disable "Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High …

Re: 3Dmark 2003:AGP Sapphire HD3650(mfg 2008) is bad :-(

It is only DDR2 but I think all AGP are DDR2 ? PCI-E is DDR3. You should check with the GPU-Z tool the bus width and bandwidth of your graphics card; if it's a 64 or 128-Bit one, regardless of GDDR2. Screen=1920x1080 Full HD resolution 22" Asus LED screen will this effect ? Unless you are running …

You should be able to get 10,000 or more. Something weird must be going on. Maybe you can run CPU-Z and GPU-Z and see if there are any clues to what the problem might be. Check task manager for any processes eating up CPU time like the other poster suggested. As suggested by bakemono, running CPU-Z …

Re: Ideal video card for dual 1.4ghz Piii-s?

Hello. I've tried a VisionTek Radeon HD 2600 Pro on a single CPU 1.4 GHz Tualatin board and works great. The graphics card is slightly bottlenecked on that system, but is good and stable under Windows XP. Now I've got the card installed on a Northwood board but I think it might be a good choice for …
