Well when I use a December CVS it works fine and very smoothly. Then when I use ANY of the 0.66 betas or RCs it crashes. It crashes when trying to play the third movie or inside the bar, or just loading the bar scene. It never crashed in 0.65 CVS. Seems like one of the changes broke the game.

MI2 supports both roland and adlib so it's possible it's playing roland. Try running the game with "a" behind it.

Privateer 2 is a very demanding game - if "normal" worked, it would be little use since it would render the game unplayable.

Would it be possible to add a custom column or two to DBGL? For example, I want a column that mentions whether it's the disk or CD version or a column that shows game size. It shouldn't be too hard?

The reason it's faster than 0.65 is because the default settings have changed. 0.65 was also capable of making Xcom run way too fast but you had to manually increase the amount of cycles for that. Cycles = how fast Dosbox will make games go. With the new 0.70, Dosbox automatically uses near the …

Future Shock & Skynet are perfectly playable in VGA in 0.70. Skynet crashes in VESA though. And even in VGA it's sometimes a bit odd. That's without the patch though.

I am not sure if I agree with red_avatar or not about the sub-folders. But keep the virtual drive letters to C and D if at all possible. So do a mount C E:\Games (or when you are at home, mount C C:\Games). That way DOSBox will see your Games directory as its C-drive. Personally, I would create and …

Well replacing the extender with DOS32A works fine 😀 no more crashes. It's a seperate exe - Fighter.exe.

Lemme have a try. It's very fickle - I managed to get 0.70 working but then I restarted and then it didn't anymore. Edit: okay it's dynamic mode that it hates. Whenever I turn that on it crashes. I'll try replacing it.

Okay, there's several things you did "wrong". First, ALWAYS use C as your drive for games. Some games won't work on any other drive letter - the same goes with CD drives - always mount those as D when possible. Second, don't use subfolders. You have "games" and then hardnova. I'm downloading this at home right now. I got the Win95 version but of course that's useless for testing. I'll try it tonight and tell you what happens with my version.
