I would worry more about running two VLB cards at 40MHz than overclocking a 486 by 21%. ;) Qurious... What could potentially go wrong? Mainly just instability. Some VLB cards will do 40Mhz fine, some wont. That being said, I never really had a problem when running the 40Mhz fsb when I had a 486 VLB …

Well, I now have a Diamond Monster Voodoo 1 4MB card on the way. Nobody else bid on it so I got it for $5.00 + shipping. Wasn't listed as a 3dfx card. Not sure what I am going to use it for.. probably save it for another retro machine as I already have the V5-5500 that I bought new back in the day …

Ok, you might be able to use a MAC serial to midi box and SOFTMPU to get it working. A Midiman mini macman might work. If only SOFTMPU supported Parallel that would be sweet. Not sure how hard or possible it would be to add that functionality.
