ok, first, it's a CD Rom game or a disk game ? If it's a CD Rom game, try to make it in "image" with Nero and use a virtual CD Rom driver like : Daemon Tools (free soft) after that, it's will imporve the time access ... For the music , I use MT32 ... The musics are very better than Adlib or Sound Blaster ! In The 7th Guest, the musics are like CD quality ! same for Buzz Aldrin's Race Into Space and First Encounter (crach in the game)
