No, DOSBox network support is limited to those parts that are used by games, as this is a game emulator. Why don't you connect to those network drives in windows and then mount those drive letters in dosbox?

Not all RAID controllers are created equal. Some are actually mostly software-driven, so a generic IDE driver sees two drives since it doesn't know about the special capabilities of the controller.

And give the fbcon SDL video driver a try as well. DirectFB is a wrapper library around the fb device, and for me it doesn't work smoothly on some machines.

On unixoid systems, the default dosbox.conf is ~/.dosboxrc On all systems, dosbox loads settings from dosbox.conf in the current directory.

SDL supports fb output if it was configured to do so. See the SDL docs. No one so far tried dosbox on any SDL_VIDEO_DRIVER than x11, so let us know if it worked.

IIRC, the mac keyboard on a macbook pro is a bit strange regarding F-keys. "dosbox -startmapper" might be a help to you as well …

Get a raw boot image instead of an EXE file. dd if=msdos.img of=/dev/fd0 voila. no dosbox needed.
