My AGP GPU collection (15 cards) : LINK What's missing ? Pretty much everything older than GeForce 2 Ti/Ultra... GeForce DDR, TNT2 (not "M64"), Voodoo 3, etc. Why ? Can't find them, or are out of my reach (Poland...), or prices are waaaay too high 🙁

I wish this confusion between API and feature levels would stop. GeForce 3 supports the DX9 API just fine, and many games written for DX9 will work just fine on it (eg Half-Life 2, Far Cry). Of course it is limited to SM1.1 inside the DX9 API, but that's no problem. Even DX7-class hardware can work …

What driver did you use for graphics card ? GeForce 3 doesn't support DirectX 9, only DirectX 8.1 (SM1.1).

I can't run DirectX 12 Feature test from 3DMark on Fermi with Win10, and in Time Spy result = 0 pkt. (tests never start, it's "click Start" which goes to "black screen" and then desktop pops up with "0 pkt." result). So yeah... Fermi's got WDDM 2.0 driver since 2016, and that's about it when it …

I don't have any problems with my Widescreen Samsung T240 in Win98SE (fonts are small in FullHD, but everything is readable). What drivers are you using ? Did you tried switching between DVI/VGA plugs (or change cable) ?

@up Have you considered 3,2GHz versions of Gallatin/Northwood/Prescott ? They are cheaper, should overclock that 200MHz no problem (to match 3,4GHz on top ones), and because of lower multi ("16") - they will score better than 3,4GHz versions at same frequency (at least in theory 😉).

I think I can achieve that with this i945p platform and some day get Intel Core2Duo x6800 processor and see if I can't hit 4.5 - 4.8 ghz , and nvidia 7900 GTX, or maybe FX-5500 quadro. And hopefully should be 100% daily-driver stable too. Some day. I see what you mean... But 4,5-4,8GHz on X6800 ? …
