After installing DivX Audio Compressor, DirectMusic Producer, and Awave Studio in a Windows XP Virtual machine, I was able to convert the dls into a soundfont. The soundfont can be found at https://musical-artifacts.com/artifacts/1254

I know this is an old thread, but I was able to extract the samples from wince_gm.dls, finally! In theory, someone can create a soundfont based on these samples.

Yes, that is correct. I resampled the 49716 HZ signal from Nuked OPL3 to 44100 HZ using high quality resampling, and added a low level of Gaussian noise to simulate analog hardware.

The code is a mix of GPL and LGPL version 2. Feel free to steel anything from this project. When I write code I try to make it as easy to integrate as possible.

I am mainly a Windows user, but I have messed around with Ubuntu MATE a little bit. Several parts of this project such as emulators and audio processing code don't require any Windows specific functions, so they should compile on Linux with little to no hassle.

I just added OPL2LPT mode to my LPT driver. The driver still defaults to OPL3LPT mode, but I added OPL2LPT mode for people who have OPL2LPT bords and wish to use this driver.
