Out of the box or does it need tweaking?

Before I go ahead and purchase a copy I've found on eBay, could anyone here tell me if it works or not on Windows 10 and if there are ways to get it working if not. Would be such a shame to buy the game and not be able to run it. Thank you in advance.

It just wouldn't start. At all. This was before the Creator's Update, perhaps it works better now. The Director's Cut is SO much better, GOG should've sell that one instead. Now they sell neither because Atari.

I want to be able to play Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay Director's Cut because I prefer that version over the Assault on Dark Athena remake. However, I haven't been able to do so on my Windows 10 machine since I had Windows XP. And downgrading for just one game is a far stretch.

Working Direct3D support for a start. More scalers. Vmemsize options. Support for Fluidsynth.

What can I replace it with? 0.74 is too old and lacks features only Daum has.
