I have a 1.8 that is working, and a 1.22 that needs work (might have had the wrong jumper settings when I last tried it). I always thought the 1.22 was the last revision, will have to look at the date codes on the chipsets 😀

Surely the cheapest and easiest (if not quickest) option is to just buy a cable with 2 of each connector type, then set up the drive you want as A: ? I'm sure there are some on ebay (I haven't checked recently, but I hope there are, as I'll need a few soon)

The 100 is about the throughput I would expect, when you take into account things like handshaking and packet overheads. Nice to know the difference between the MT and GT though, I'll have to check which cards I have for older builds.

FAT16 doesn't define the number of cylinders. It can map a maximum of 65526 clusters, with a maximum cluster size of 32KB.
