I would imagine that some 5x86 might benefit from WC to overclock to 200. Never really thought about it though, I just remember reading some article.

The oldest water cooled system I've seen online (too long ago to remember where) was a 486. Can't remember any details, but I think prior to Socket A all loops used custom blocks. None of the professional quality stuff we see these days 😀

487S is not that rare, they occasionally turn up by the trayful. Not so common on an interposer though, but still not what I consider rare. Guess it depends where you hang out and buy 😀

What makes something a collector's item is not down to just its monetary value, so much as whether a collector wants it. In the CPU-World forums, you'll find a lot of collectors who include this and similar in their collections. It's not valuable, but it is collectible.

As tools like SetMul and Throttle (and others) work by adjusting registers, I'd be surprised if using two side by side would really make much difference over what the better of any set of apps can do on its own.

I don't know the Kalex brand, but the 94V-0 is a standard of some kind. You'll find it on most boards of the era.

If you are searching for drivers specific to MS OS/2 1.3, it may help to search IBM OS/2 1.3 instead, as v1.3 came very soon after MS broke off the collaboration with IBM, favouring their own Windows 3. Other than that, I can't help.
